Commercial Business & Residential Rental Properties

Any property within the Borough of Souderton that is non owner occupied must be registered annually with the Borough of Souderton. The annual registration fee is $50.00 plus $16.00 per unit. Invoices for Rental Registrations are mailed in April and be due in May every year. Regulations also require inspections of all rental units to verify compliance with life and safety issues and the Property Maintenance Code. The inspections will occur every three years and is broken down by the three wards in Souderton Borough. Inspections of rental properties located in Ward 3 will be scheduled beginning June of 2025, and properties in Ward 1 will be in 2026, properties Ward 2 will be inspected in 2027. 

Please note: If the property owner doesn’t reside at the property and there are other people residing at the property then it is a Rental Property. Please refer to the Borough ordinance for Rental Properties.
