The Souderton Borough Public Works Department is responsible for managing the ongoing operations for the following:

  • Street and road maintenance and repair
  • Stormwater management
  • Snow removal
  • Maintenance of parks and borough properties
  • Brush and Leaf Removal

Reporting a Streetlight Problem

The streetlights should all have a small silver placard located at eye level on their pole containing the street light owner and a number to call if there is an issue with the light. For PPL Electric Utilities-owned lights that number is customer contact center at 1-800-DIAL-PPL (1-800-342-5775) to report street light outages. 

Alley Maintenance and Paving Policy

Here is the policy regarding maintenance and paving of alleys that was adopted by Resolution by Borough Council on December 4, 2006.  

Handicap Parking Sign Permits

Applications for handicap parking sign permits are handled on a case-by-case basis, please contact the Police Department.
